This week, Andrea helped me start a new watercolour painting. It's quite a big one, and it's of the Montmartre area of Paris that we went to visit last September, with that big church - the Sacre Coeur in the distance. It's coming along rather nicely. It's a lot bigger than me though, I don't usually do works this big.....!

This is Sitka, she lives at Shiloh Horse Rescue in Nevada (see http://www.shilohhorserescue.com and also www.shilohhorserescue.blogspot.com) and, as well as having a 3 month old foal to look after, has a very crippled front leg. Shiloh are trying to raise US$4,000 to pay for a Magic Leg (prosthetic) to help her walk painlessly.
Please visit here http://shilohhorserescue.rescuegroups.org/info/display?PageID=5876
to help raise money for her!

A friend of Andrea's gave her this HUGE jar of blue pigment a few weeks ago!! It's very similar to Oriental Blue, which is one of Andrea's favourite colours. This means I get to help her make some more paint!! How fun!!
