I am writing to inform you that Found Art Blog has been featured on Guide to Art School's list of the Top 50 Found Art blogs found here: http://www.guidetoartschools.com/tips-and-tools/found-art. We hand-picked a list of our favorite found art blogs and then outlined the unique reasons why we love them. I find it extremely fascinating how you seek to "connect" to others by intentionally losing art pieces all over the planet and then inviting those who find them to leave comments on your site.
I would really appreciate your feedback on our list of found art blogs, and we have created a badge that you are welcome to use anywhere on your site to let your readers know you have been recognized.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Isn't that fun!!! I've put their logo on the side bar of my blog underneath the followers but I don't know if it does anything if you click on it! But I got found!!!
Beanie Mouse lives in the south of England and has been painting and creating artworks for many years. Some will be "lost" somewhere on the planet, some will be mailed out and on the Emporium blog, reviews are given on various stuff! Beanie also travels and blogs about that on the Beanie Mouse blog.
If you have discovered this blog by finding a piece of artwork with a label on the back, that label should also have the name of the artwork, i.e. "postcard 25" or "weathergram 62" or "Tag 86".
The quickest way to find your item is using the "search" line at the top left of the screen with the orange "B" in front and the magnifying glass at the end- type in the item & number on the label and then click on the icon at the end..... it'll take you straight there! Post a comment to say you found it!
If you can't find it that way, leave a comment on the most recent post, and I'll cut and paste it to the correct place for you!
Next time I'm in, I'll find your comment and reclassify the lost item as found.
