Beanie's Day Out

Andrea took me out last week into town. We stopped to look in this bookshop....

And then we stopped in Inter Net Cafe. Andrea showed me one of her favourite art sites ....
OH!!! THERE'S MY BEANIE BOX!!!!
Oh how fab!! I'm famous!!

We also had a look at one of Andrea's friends blogs - and I'm even mentioned on that as well!!

Beanie and The Magic Leg.

Andrea told me about a very special horse called Sitka, that lives in Nevada. She read on http://www.shilohhorseranch.blogspot.com/ about this horse, who has a damaged front leg. They want to get a special magic leg made to fit over the front leg to help Sitka walk about painlessly and look after her baby Sunday, and watch Sunday grow up. We decided to donate this painting to Sitka to raffle off at the Pet Expo on 22nd November 2008 to raise some money for the Magic Leg.

I helped wrap the painting up in some tissue paper first to make sure it didn't get dirty in the post.

Yup, that's it. Good work with the sticky tape there, Andrea!

I helped cut up two pieces of mount board to sandwich the painting between so it doesn't get bent out of shape in the post. Then it's out with the brown paper....!

Now, where's that address for Shiloh where Sitka lives????
