Today, I have multiple updates on my "blogs that I'm following" page from some sodding "Medical Friends Blog" that I'm not bloody following and certainly not a friend of.

Something like that happened to me a while ago and it turned out that a blog I used to follow, but was abandoned but not deleted by the owner had been taken over by some spamming company or other.
I deleted most old 'braindead' blogs that were still in my bloglist after that.
